Learn How To Change A Flat Tire
Driving is a lot of fun, and it helps you get where you need to go on a daily basis. And while the vast majority of the time, you don’t run into any serious car trouble, there are times when you’ll need to learn some basic car maintenance skills. For example, it’s very important to know how to change your tire. After all, what if you’re in the middle of nowhere and you get a flat? In that case, you’ll want to know how to get your spare tire on all by yourself. It’s easier than it may seem, and with just a little bit of time and patience, you can learn to do it too. Take a look at these easy steps, and you’ll be well on your way to learning how you can change your own tire.
First Things First
Before you do anything else, you’ll want to pull over to a safe spot. Try to get someplace where there’s not a lot of traffic. At the very least, get out of the flow of traffic. This is an important step, as you don’t want to get hurt while you are changing your tire.
You also need to have some basic tools with you if you want to be able to put your spare on. First of all, you’ll need an inflated spare tire. You’ll also need your vehicle’s owner’s manual, a car jack, and a lug wrench. It’s a good idea to keep all of these tools in the back of your vehicle just in case something comes up.

Changing Your Tire
Once you have located all the necessary tools, you can now start changing your tire. First, you need to put the jack under the car and raise it, so your flat tire is no longer touching the ground. Next, you should loosen the lug nuts from your wheel and remove the damaged tire. Then, you can put your spare on the vehicle. Make sure that the screws line up with the holes in the tire. After that, you should put the lug nuts back on and tighten them with your fingers. Once you have tightened them as much as possible that way, you can then use the lug wrench. Finally, you can put your damaged tire and your tools back in your trunk and be on your way.
However, remember that you shouldn’t be driving around on your spare tire for an extended period of time. You’ll need to get a new one as soon as possible.
