If you homeschool your children, you probably know how much of a struggle it can be to ensure they learn everything they need to know. After all, you have to be the expert at everything if you want them to succeed. However, it can help to outsource some of that work to people who may know more about certain subjects than you do. Plus, finding ways for homeschooled children to socialize with other kids in the area is super important. That’s why you should take your kids to Homeschool at the Lake at Lake Accotink Park. It’s a positive opportunity for a wide variety of children. Get the scoop on what to expect.

Who’s It For?

Since these classes take place during the daytime, they are ideal for kids who are homeschooled. Classes will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. for five Thursdays starting April 25. It’s perfect for children who are between the ages of 6 to 12. This gives them the chance to spend time with kids their own age while they learn all about the natural world.

Five Classes on a Variety of Topics

All of these homeschool classes focus on natural and historical habitats, which is important for children to learn about. It gives them a sense of responsibility for the environment and helps them see the impact of their actions on the natural world. There will be five sessions during this class, all covering different topics.

The first class will be all about geology. Then, they’ll learn about frogs and polliwogs, watersheds, food webs, and finally, how living things in nature adapt to changes in their environment. By the end of the course, they’ll have learned a lot about the natural world around them.
