How Much Is The Hyundai IONIQ 9?

The Hyundai IONIQ 9 is expected to start at around $62,000 and could go up to around $75,000, depending on your trim and available options. The RWD models will offer more range and cost less than the AWD models which have quicker acceleration and performance. This flagship SUV will be available in the United States in Spring 2025 with a maximum range of up to 335 miles. It is important to remember that this 3-row SUV will qualify for the $7,500 federal tax credit for electric vehicles.

Battery, Range, and Charging

Hyundai gave the IONIQ 9 two battery options with a 110.3 kWh battery for long-range models and 99.8 kWh for the base model. According to Hyundai, the projected EPA range estimate for the Long-Range RWD model with 19-inch wheels is 335 miles. They have also claimed that the 110.3-kWh lithium-ion battery can be recharged from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes on a properly operating 350-kW DC fast charger thanks to the 800V battery system.

The spacious three-row configuration offers seating for up to seven adults, with a fully flat floor that enhances cabin versatility. Hyundai introduces innovative features like Relaxation Seats that can recline and include a Dynamic Touch Massage system to alleviate fatigue on long drives. The center console can slide back so that second-row passengers can access it, and doing so also creates a passthrough space between the front seats.
