IONIQ 9 Release Date
Hyundai has announced that the IONIQ 9 will be released in spring 2025. The Hyundai IONIQ 9 was made for families to reach their destination on a smooth ride without the need to stop for gas. The all-electric SUV has more space with a third row, quick acceleration, premium entertainment, and so many more features to make your drive a pleasant experience. The IONIQ 9 is expected to start around $62,000 and could go up to around $74,000, depending on your trim and added available options.
Futuristic Design
The IONIQ 9 sits at the top of Hyundai’s IONIQ lineup with a fusion of aerodynamic efficiency and futuristic styling. From its smooth, curved roofline to the sleek Parametric Pixel LED lights, the exterior gives it a futuristic and bold look. The drag coefficient of just 0.259 Cd ensures optimal energy efficiency, while advanced features like flush surfaces and hidden antennas enhance the sleek aesthetic.
With a choice of 16 exterior colors and wheel options ranging up to 21 inches, including a premium Calligraphy design, the IONIQ 9 has something unique to offer different types of people.

Luxurious Interior Space
The three-row configuration offers seating for up to seven, with a fully flat floor that enhances cabin versatility. Hyundai introduces innovative features like Relaxation Seats that can recline and include a Dynamic Touch Massage system to alleviate fatigue on long drives. The center console can slide back so that second-row passengers can access it, and doing so also creates a passthrough space between the front seats.
There is plenty of storage space with 22 cubic feet of cargo area behind the third row, and 46 cubic feet with it folded flat. The front truck provides a small amount of extra space in both rear-wheel-drive models and AWD models. There is slightly more room in RWD models due to the smaller battery taking up less space.
Quick Charging and Range
The IONIQ 9 features an impressive WLTP-projected range of 385 miles on a single charge, thanks to its 110.3 kWh battery. Whether you’re commuting to work or planning a weekend getaway, the IONIQ 9 will help you go the distance.
Charging is lightning-fast, with the ability to replenish from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes using a 350 kW charger. If you’re looking for more power the Performance AWD model delivers 0-60 mph acceleration in about 4.9 seconds, while the Long-Range RWD variant offers a smooth and efficient ride.
